CONTENT
It is important that you stay on topic and keep the discussion focused. If the thread begins to wonder off into a new topic area, start a new thread and continue the discussion under the new thread. All topics posted in what is considered the wrong forum topic will be moved to the appropriate forum. Any material deemed to be inappropriate or highly offensive will be deleted without notice.
FORUM MODERATION AND CENSORSHIP
ICANGRIPE.COM attempts to monitor the content of all postings and reserves the right to delete any message without prior notice. We use this power judiciously and fairly without prejudice or malice. Abuse of this power by a Moderator can result in loss of his/her powers.
If your post has been deleted and you feel it was unjustified or you would just like to know the reason please feel free to contact either the site administrator or the moderator of the forum it was deleted from and request an explanation.

If you have a complaint or bitch you wish to air online please do so on the appropriate forum. “The Bitch Pit” This forum is designed to allow you, the member, to air your complaints in a reasonable and constructive manner. All Bitches will be dwelt with in as timely a manner as possible so please be patient.

NO CROSS-POSTING
Cross posting is defined as posting the same information in more then one forum on the Internet. It is also considered cross posting if you post the same information in different areas of these forums. If you want to propose a new topic, find the appropriate category and only post once. All cross-posts will be deleted without warning.
NO INFLAMATORY POSTS
You are NOT ALLOWED to intentionally post inflammatory remarks aimed at inciting an argument to intentionally hurt someone’s feelings. If you can not bring anything new to the argument in a rational manner, then do not say anything at all.
If you insist on continually being offensive rather then posting something of value you will be banned. At Gripe we define "inflammatory" as a message that serves no constructive purpose other then to cause offence or arguments. Any message/posting that results in a complaint from a registered user will result in a warning. If it is a repetitive offense the poster can loose his/her membership.
PERSONAL ATTACKS
Unjustified personal attacks will NOT be tolerated. Such attackers will be subjected to a warning If it is a repetitive offense the poster will result in loss of membership

POSTING COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL
Copyright infringement is illegal on these forums. Therefore, please do not post articles in their entirety. When posting copyrighted material, please provide sufficient credit to the author and a link to the original article in your post. If the article cannot be found online, then at the end of the post provide an appropriate cite using any of the available citing formats, MLA, APA, etc.
DO NOT pass of someone else’s work as your own. Anyone intentionally committing plagiarism can/will result in loss of membership.
REQUESTS TO ADMIN
This forum is for you the member to post input into the workings of Gripe and to request/suggest any changes/additions you would like to see on this site. The Admin knows that the real reason this site exists for the sole benefit of you the member and therefore welcomes your input. Please understand that all requests will be viewed with the understanding that it must be beneficial to the majority of its members and not based on the thoughts and views of a minority.
RESEARCH YOUR POST
If you are stating a fact, be prepared to back it up with some official sources (websites, links etc). It is also important to structure your post in a way that everyone can understand. Please ensure that your post includes sufficient sources and contains a well-researched and well-organized argument.
RESPECT OTHERS PRIVACY
